Pioneer Valley Live Steamer's 60th Anniversary Meet(From Rich Hubbard)
 
PVLS will be celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year with a special meet for fellow Live Steamers from other clubs who would like to attend. It will be held on August 10th -12th at the track in Southwick, Ma. We would certainly enjoy seeing other Live Steamers members coming up and running their engines for the weekend. (Ground track gage is 7 1/4)
At the present time, there will be breakfast and light lunches offered at the club for the three days, with a Saturday night dinner being offered- probably a pig roast at this time.
There is primitive camping available on the grounds for the weekend.
PVLS is in the process of reviewing track regulations; but most of this pertains to our public meets. Young people will be allowed to run during this meet, but the club safety officers are allowed to require an adult or restrict numbers of cars or passengers being pulled by young people. Safety is our biggest concern during a meet; and we expect any visitors to feel the same way. We want everyone to both enjoy themselves and have a great time also.
There will be more information on motels and meet registration forms being sent out in a couple months. Registration is not necessary to attend, it just helps us anticipate how many people will be attending.
